Anyone else open up their overview after this most recent update to find they had 7,000+ "Not entered" clinical notes???
I've started to look into some of the most recent one and I am guessing there is something wrong with the programming as I have patient's that are coming up in my "not entered" column and for the day and procedure charged out, there is a note with both mine and my hygienist's signature. Someone at Ascend needs to look into this.
In our office, we sell rx toothpaste, chlorhexide, etc. to patients and this is always charged out at me, the owner, not as the hygienist or the associate dds. So, now there are thousands of "not entered" notes because a patient who saw a hygienist and my associate, also has the product charge, but there is no "note" for me. Does anyone else do it this way? I don't really want to change how we charge it out, as it will change our production numbers for my employees, but I also don't want to have to create an additional note.
At this point in time, I don't even know where to start in order to start chipping away at this ridiculous "to-do" list that Ascend has just created for me. In theory, I like the idea of a feature to help so we don't accidentally forget to create a note. But it needs to work correctly. I don't want to waste my time looking up patients only to find there is a note I have already signed, but it still is sitting on my "to-do" list.
