    When reviewing the claim in the Unresolved Claims area, there is an information bubble next to the status. (see below).  The statuses marked with an X are the claim status that can be edited.  All others statuses you will not be able to edit them.  So if you had a claim rejected by mail or verbally with the carrier, you will have to delete and recreate the claim and then attach the images to submit to the carrier.

    Hi Katee,

    To my knowledge, you can't modify/edit already created claim. You need to delete this claim and resubmit a new one with all attachments.

    To clarify, you can edit claim information, including attachments, if the claim has one of the statuses mentioned by Matt. However, the status of the claim must be one that was returned electronically by the payer in response to the claim that you submitted electronically through Dentrix Ascend. As Matt explained, claims rejected by mail or by phone are not going to change the claim status in Dentrix Ascend.
