Imaging-Acquisition Status stuck on red Getting Device Ready

When trying to acquire X-rays with a sensor, after clicking the Proceed with Acquisition button, the Acquisition Status panel got stuck on red with the message "Getting Device Ready...,"  and the page froze. 

In this case, the solution was to do the following: 

1. Open the task manager, and end the Acquisition Agent process.

2. Restart the Acquisition Agent.

Or you can just reboot the workstation.
