On the Analysis- Insurance utilization report. The column at the far right, titled "Discount/Patient, is a measure of what the insurance discount is vs the office UCR fee per patient. The colors in that column go from green to red. The larger the discount per patient, the redder the color. The smaller the discount, the greener the color. So, in this case, the purpose of the colors is to draw your attention to those insurance plans that have the largest discount so that the office can evaluate their relationship with those insurance plans.
