Wrong provider posted on Progress notes and the ledger

    The reason for this is because the patient has a treatment plan and the procedures that were scheduled on the appointment were scheduled either from the treatment planner or using a treatment plan case. The treatment plan that was set up for the patient for these procedures was set up with Provider B as the provider. Changing the provider on the calendar does not effect the assigned provider for the tx plan and on the progress notes. For this reason, even though the appointment has Provider A as the provider, Provider B is the posted provider of the procedures. On the other hand, if procedures are scheduled from the calendar and not the treatment planner ( or using a tx plan case), then the assigned provider from the appointment, in this case Provider A, is the provider that is shown on the progress notes and on the ledger. In this case, if the provider is changed to Provider B on the appointment, then the provider is also changed on the progress notes and the ledger.
