We've been using Microsoft Edge, both while in a beta environment and now in the full production release. Both versions of the browser are Chrome based. Meaning it's build from the open source chromium project. Edge has worked flawlessly for us and consumes a lot less resources, thus allowing our computer to run more efficiently. Today when we tried to sign in, we were greeted with a "unsupported browser" page and directs us to download Chrome or Safari, depending on our operating system. After calling support, I was told "sorry, our developers only code for chrome." That is not standard practice for a web based platform such as Ascend. Web based means that it should work on any standards compliant web browser. Being forced to install a piece of software, which we don't want is not acceptable under any circumstance.
