Patient & Production by Referral Type - Chart Report

Keeping track of new-patient referral sources helps you identify which referral sources generate the most new patients and production. Knowing this can help you know where to spend your marketing time, money, and efforts. The Patient & Production by Referral Type - Chart Report displays referral production statistics in the current location for the past 12 months. The Patient Count chart displays the number of new patients (patients who have a first visit date in the past 12 months) by referral type. The Production chart displays the resulting production amount by referral type.

To view the Patient & Production by Referral Type - Chart Report

1. On the Home menu, under Reports, click (or tap) Insights.

   The Insights page opens.

2. In the Patients box, click (or tap) the Patients & Production by Referral Type - Chart link.

   

   The report appears.

   

3. The data from your database syncs with the reporting system automatically and displays the time of the last sync on the Data as of button. Data entered in Dentrix Ascend after the time shown will not be available on the report until the next sync. To view the time when the next sync is expected to occur, click (or tap) the Data as of button.

   

4. Using the analysis report builder tools, add data fields to the layout, and set up filters as needed.

5. To save the report as a template for later use, click (or tap) Save. In the Save Report dialog box that appears, enter a name for the report, select whether you want to save the report as one of your reports (available only to you) or as an organization report (available to all users), and then click (or tap) OK.

   

   

6. From the More actions and options button menu, click (or tap) an Export option to export the report as a .pdf, .xslx, or .csv file.
