Even though you can access the courses, knowledgebase and some product updates without signing in to the Dentrix Ascend Resource center, there is a major benefit to signing in AND another benefit to connecting your resource center account with your customer ID.
#1: By signing in, you can now follow any article or series you choose. For example, you can choose to Follow the Customer Success article series and every time a new article is added, you will receive an email.
#2: By connecting your resource center account email with your customer ID, you will see Dentrix Ascend release notes that match your specific Ascend tier - so the dates of release will be accurate.
I recommend every user of Dentrix Ascend sign in.
Steps to Sign in & Connect your ID
- Click the ? inside Ascend and choose the Resource Center
- Click Sign In - found in the top right corner - that opens a window - click Sign up:
- When you click Sign up - a new window will open - fill in your full name and email address:
- Next, you will see a confirmation message that directs you to check your email in order to complete your registration.
- Open the email titled Welcome to Dentrix Ascend and click on the link to create your Resource Center credentials. When the dialog box appears with your full name, enter your password. If you want, you can use the same password for this support resource center that you use for the Dentrix Ascend program. After you enter your password, you will be immediately logged in to the Resource Center.
- Final Step: Beyond the basic information available to any visitor, the Resource Center contains additional information that requires your Resource Center user account to be linked to your Dentrix Ascend organization. To do this, contact Dentrix Ascend Support via email at support@dentrixascend.com or call 855-232-9493, Option 2 to request that your Resource Center account be linked.
- To find your customer ID - In Dentrix Ascend, look in the top blue taskbar for your name all the way to the right - mine says "Hi Jill" - click on that and choose My account from the drop down menu. Now, you can see your Customer ID on this screen.
- Your email to support@dentrixascend.com can say:
- Subject Line: Connect my email to my customer ID for the Ascend Resource Center
- Email: Please connect my email address ___________ to my customer ID _______ in the Dentrix Ascend Resource Center
In the future when you log into the Dentrix Ascend Resource Center, make sure that your name shows up in the top right corner so that you are able to follow articles and view the custom information attached to your customer ID.
