Automated appointment reminders are the most efficient way to reduce patient no-shows and retain patients. These reminders are sent using the email addresses and/or mobile phone numbers that you collect from your patients; however, if you haven’t collected this information, there's no way for Dentrix Ascend to send reminders automatically. Fortunately, Dentrix Ascend will remind you when you're missing this crucial patient contact information.

- Reminders to collect email addresses and phone numbers appear only if the information is missing from the primary contact’s Patient Information (Dentrix Ascend cannot know whether information is outdated.)
