It’s great when a new family joins your practice. Dentrix Ascend lets you capture the minimum information for the entire household all in one screen, making your initial data entry really fast.

- The reason it’s so important to check for an existing patient is because once a patient record is created in Ascend, it cannot be deleted.
- In the Create New Household dialog box, the X at the end of the patient name row will allow you to delete that household member before you click Save.
- If a patient in a household prefers to receive their own reminders, you can set that in the Patient Information page under Related Patients.
