When patients come in for their appointments its important to know if they have a medical alert. Dentrix Ascend has the capability for you to add alert levels so you can specify whether you want to have the medical alert “pop up” on your screen when you access the patient. This gives you the ability to know right away when there is an important issue the doctor needs to be aware of.

- When a medical alert is expired it cannot be deleted. If an alert is accidentally expired it should be recreated.
- Medical alerts can be added in the settings menu if you’d like to add an alert that will be used frequently.
