A patient's appointment is productive time for your office. And when a patient breaks an appointment, it costs you money. To reduce the likelihood of broken appointments, most practices confirm the appointments by contacting the patient—which also serves as an excellent reminder for the patients. Dentrix Ascend keeps a list of patients who have not yet confirmed their appointments, which you can use to contact them and then designate them as "Confirmed".

- To open a patient’s Overview page, click the patient's name link.
- If you designated a patient-contact as "Left Message," you can change the status to "Confirmed" when the appointment is confirmed by the patient.
