Charting Conditions

You never know what you’re going to see when a patient opens his or her mouth. When you create a record of things as you find them, you are charting conditions. Dentrix Ascend makes it easy for the clinician to quickly and completely document exam findings and dental conditions in the Patient Chart.

Additional Information

• Additional dialog boxes may appear, for example surfaces selection, depending on the condition selected.
• If no teeth are selected (whole mouth), the only condition you can set is dentition.
• To treatment plan a condition, in the Progress Notes tab of the patient's clinical record click Treat for that condition.
• A charted condition appears only on the graphical tooth chart and in the Progress Notes, and not in the Ledger.
