How can I change the start date on the insurance? The patient was in 4/22/14 and again 5/6/14. The ins did not get entered until 5/1/14 and the system will not let me adjust the start date..
I would suggest checking off the box above the plans that says "show expired plans" and you might see an old plan that was in place prior to the start of the new plan. If nothing is showing there then I would check on the guarantor first because the dependant cannot have insurance that extends beyond what the guarantor's coverage is for.
Those are the two popular causes for denying a change to the start date.
what is I added a new insurance , that was already pre existing in expired plans? both are the same and have same coverage date?
I am trying to resubmit a claim as the primary adn secondary ins were mixed up and I when switched I do not get the option to change the payor on claim
