How to check external IP address using Chrome
Do a google search for, "my IP" and the search results will display the public IP Address
Empty cache and hard reload

Click the 3 dots in the top right of the browser and select "More Tools"
- From that menu, select "Developer Tools"

With that panel open, right click the refresh icon in the address bar and select, "Empty cache and hard reload"
Check for and remove extensions
- Navigate to chrome://extensions in the address bar
- Uninstall any extensions you do not use or recognize
Update Chrome
- Click the 3 dots in the top right of the browser and select "Help"
From that menu, select "About Chrome"
If the window shows chrome is up to date, no further steps; If an update is installed, let it complete - Manually quit (do not click relaunch) and close all chrome windows.
- Right Click the Task Bar and select "Task Manager"
- Display all processes by clicking "More Details" if present at the bottom of that window
- End Task for any remaining chrome processes
- Reopen Chrome application
- To restore open tabs
- Windows:
- Click the 3 dots in the top right of the browser and select "History"
- Under "Recently closed" select the tab folder
- Click Restore window
- Click the 3 dots in the top right of the browser and select "History"
- macOS
- Select the History menu in the menu bar
- Select the relevant tab reference
- Select "Restore all tabs"
- Select the History menu in the menu bar
- Windows:
Restart computer
- For Windows:
- From the Start Menu select the "Power" menu
- In the Power menu select "Restart"
- For macOS:
- In the apple Menu select "Restart..."
