Prerequisites
Before you can set up or use Dentrix Ascend Voice, you must have the following:

Licenses - Contact your Henry Schein One account executive to inquire about purchasing Dentrix Ascend Voice licenses. Each license that you purchase for your location is good for up to five computers.
Compatible microphones - Consider the following types of microphones when purchasing a microphone:
Lapel - A wireless microphone that clips onto clothing.
Stationary - A stationary microphone that plugs into your computer and remains situated on the top of the monitor or another nearby surface. A stationary microphone is hands-free and out of the way.
Headset - In extremely noisy environments, a headset may work better than a lapel or stationary microphone for dealing with interference from background noise.
Using a lapel-style microphone is recommended. You may want to purchase the following recommended microphones:
