For each computer (or device) that uses Dentrix Ascend, you can choose to hide or show patient names on the routing panel, calendar, and notifications.
To hide patient names
On the Schedule menu, click (or tap) Calendar.
The Calendar page opens.
On the View menu, set the Hide patient names switch to On.
Click (or tap) Done.
The following become hidden:
Patient names and patient pictures on appointment cards on the Status Tracker tab of the routing panel.
Patient names on appointments on the Schedule Peek tab of the routing panel.
Patient names on appointments while viewing the schedule.
Patient names on notifications (names still appear on the title bars of patient note notifications).
To temporarily show patient names while the Hide patient names setting is on, either click (or tap) and hold one of the Show buttons , or press and hold F4 on your keyboard.
The Show buttons are available only while the Hide patient names setting is on, and they appear in the following areas of Dentrix Ascend: the Calendar toolbar; the routing panel, with either the Status Tracker or Schedule Peek tab selected; and the Notifications title bar.
To return to always showing patient names on the computer (or device) that you are currently using, on the View menu of the Calendar page, set the Hide patient names switch to Off, and then click (or tap) Done.
